Artist's Description
I first started working on this 3D model back in the spring of 2010 and have been upgrading it off and on adding more detail and making adjustments. It originally started as a 1955 Peterbilt based on the one used in the 1971 movie "Duel". The first model was pretty crude compared to the newer versions since I've learned a lot of new techniques since then! This version, nicknamed Ol' Yeller, features a well weathered paint scheme with plenty of rust and dents from years of hard use but this ol' truck is still goin' strong! Model was built in 3D with Art of Illusion and touched-up using Gimp 2. Thanks for looking and keep on truckin'!!

I work in a wide variety of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture and computer graphics. I grew up drawing cartoons and building model cars, tanks and planes so naturally this interest has had a big influence upon my artwork. I am especailly interested in antique machinery and vehicles of all kinds.
