This is a digitally enhanced oil painting on canvas (original is 30" x 36") depicting Tommy Blackburn's F4U Corsair. The painting is finished in a style reminiscent of 1940s magazine illustration. Gimp 2 was used for the digital work. Thanks for looking!
About Stuart Swartz
I work in a wide variety of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture and computer graphics. I grew up drawing cartoons and building model cars, tanks and planes so naturally this interest has had a big influence upon my artwork. I am especailly interested in antique machinery and vehicles of all kinds.
