Artist's Description
This is an older oil painting I did back in 1992 that I photographed and digitally enhanced using Gimp 2. I used Gimp to retouch and soften the clouds and rework the color throughout the painting to add more depth. The picture depicts a Focke Wulf FW-190-A fighter as flown by Ernst Schroder in 1944.
About Stuart Swartz
I work in a wide variety of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture and computer graphics. I grew up drawing cartoons and building model cars, tanks and planes so naturally this interest has had a big influence upon my artwork. I am especailly interested in antique machinery and vehicles of all kinds. Over the last couple years I've had several people ask about creating some Christmas cards featuring my artwork so I've added a Chritmas card gallery. Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy my work! I also have T-shirts and other items featuring my artwork available on Zazzle.com, store name StusPlace
