1930 Lockheed Model 8 Sirius metal print by Stuart Swartz. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
I built this 3D model of Charles and Anne Lindbergh's 1930 Lockheed Model 8 Sirius floatplane with Art of Illusion. Gimp 2 was used for touch-ups. The background clouds are from a digital photo shot in my backyard. Plane is on display at the National Air and Space Museum.

I work in a wide variety of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture and computer graphics. I grew up drawing cartoons and building model cars, tanks and planes so naturally this interest has had a big influence upon my artwork. I am especailly interested in antique machinery and vehicles of all kinds.
