Golden Submarine metal print by Stuart Swartz. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. 3D model I built inspired by Barney Oldfield's "Golden Submarine" from 1917. Model was built with Art of Illusion and Serif Draw Plus, Gimp 2 used for color maps, has about 250 parts.
About Stuart Swartz
I work in a wide variety of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture and computer graphics. I grew up drawing cartoons and building model cars, tanks and planes so naturally this interest has had a big influence upon my artwork. I am especailly interested in antique machinery and vehicles of all kinds.
