This painting depicts a Ryan PT-22 Recruit on an early morning training flight. The first painting I did back in high school in 1980 was a PT-22, so I decided that my first painting for 2010 would be the same subject.
I work in a wide variety of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture and computer graphics. I grew up drawing cartoons and building model cars, tanks and planes so naturally this interest has had a big influence upon my artwork. I am especailly interested in antique machinery and vehicles of all kinds. Over the last couple years I've had several people ask about creating some Christmas cards featuring my artwork so I've added a Chritmas card gallery. Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy my work!
